We are pleased to announce that Kashima Antlers FC Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kashima City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Representative Director and President: Fumitaka Koizumi, hereinafter "Kashima Antlers") and Itako City (Mayor: Hirokazu Hara) will launch a crowdfunding project using the Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation) system, "Let's all create the future of Antlers 2025," starting on Wednesday, September 17.
This project aims to improve the environment of Kashima Antlers' facilities. This year, the main target of support is the expansion of the grounds used by academy players, who are expected to play active roles in the top team in the future, and the improvement of their training environment.
Currently, players such as Yuma Suzuki, Hiroki Yamada, Yu Funabashi, Shuhei Mizoguchi, Eito Shimoda, Haruto Matsumoto, Homare Tokuda, and Kairo Sato, who are active in the top team, have also grown up in this academy. Developing the next generation is one of the club's important missions.
For those who support us, we have prepared exclusive benefits (returns) for the "Let's all create the future of Antlers 2025" crowdfunding project, depending on the amount of your support. We plan to offer local specialties from Itako City, original design goods, and event-type thank-you gifts such as tickets to a special match scheduled for January 2026.
Incidentally, in "Let's all create the future of Antlers 2024," implemented in 2024, we received 71,127,000 yen in support from 1,479 people, and we are currently proceeding with the renovation of the training ground, which is the daily training base for the players. The recent soil improvement work aimed to improve the drainage of the ground, which had been a long-standing issue, to ensure a high-quality training environment even in rainy weather, and to reduce the risk of player injuries. The construction is proceeding smoothly, and we expect to be able to start training on the new ground from mid-August.
