■ Artist Profile:
Carlos Kubo (real name: Itsuo Kubo). A second-generation Japanese-Brazilian born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1949. He creates unique works using oil paints and holds solo exhibitions around the world with the aim of supporting activities that connect sports and art. He was specially authorized by Zico TD himself to create and exhibit portraits of him. In 2015, to commemorate the 120th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Brazil, he personally presented a painting to Their Imperial Highnesses Prince Akishino and Princess Akishino.
■ Exhibition Overview:
Titled "Spirit of ZICO by CARLOS KUBO," the exhibition will feature the display and sale of paintings and goods with Zico TD as the theme. Based on Zico TD's own proposal, all proceeds from the art exhibition will be donated to the Brazilian Charitable Association for Rehabilitation (ABBR).
