This time, 25 elementary school students from 1st to 6th grade participated.
The "Golden Age" (around 3 to 14 years old) is said to be when motor skills develop significantly.
The theme for this class is to turn "dislikes" into "likes" during this period! We conduct training to stimulate motor nerves as much as possible!

The first warm-up was a mimicry game!
We played a game where participants imitated and moved while repeating what the coach said.
For example, if the coach said "right," they would jump to the right while saying "right"...
As the level progressed, the words remained the same but the movements were opposite, or the words were opposite but the movements were the same, which even confused the coaches.

Training using mini hula hoops
Hopscotch, stepping one foot at a time and running...
Here, we focused on keeping heels off the ground and using the whole body.
Rhythm was also important.

Training using markers
We ran a lot while checking our running form.
Just a little attention to arm swing and posture can change running speed.

Crawling under and jumping over bars.

Finally, we did "escaping" training to avoid being hit by a ball.
To "escape," you need to be able to move your body as you intend!

Although it was a very hot day, the children ran around energetically!
The "Movement Skills Class" is held regularly!
We look forward to your participation next time!
