This was the first time the tournament was held using both artificial turf fields at Journey Ota Ground.
On Wednesday, August 29th, six teams were divided into two groups for a league round. Based on those results, on Thursday, August 30th, the teams were divided into an upper group and a lower group for another league round.
The three teams that advanced to the upper league were Kashima Antlers, Antlers Tsukuba, and FC Koga.
Each match was a heated battle between teams from Ibaraki Prefecture.
