China Expedition (7/16)

Since the hotel where we are staying is located at a slightly high altitude, it is covered in fog every morning.

After waking up, I took a walk and did some exercises before having breakfast.

In the morning, we had a light training session for about an hour starting at 9 AM on the grounds right behind the hotel.

Since the opposing team has a different academic year system than Japan, there were several players with good physiques, perhaps because many of them were born early in the year.

The match started with a 4 PM kickoff.

In the 2nd minute, we stole the ball with pressure from the front, and Kinouchi scored a brilliant goal to take the lead.

After that, we continued to press from the front, won the ball, and created chances, but gradually the opponent settled down, started to connect passes, and built up their rhythm.

The first half, which included a water break, ended with us leading 1-0.

In the second half, the flow remained unchanged from the first half, and we continued to face difficult situations due to mistakes. However, the players who came in as substitutes pressed from the front, created situations where the opponent made mistakes, and expanded our chances.

Amidst this, in the 20th minute of the second half, Toyoshima calmly converted a penalty he earned himself, successfully extending our lead. Furthermore, in the 32nd minute of the second half, substitute Miura scored a brilliant dribble shot, sealing the victory.

The performance of the substitute players shone, leading us to two consecutive wins.
