We held a meeting to address areas for improvement in both offense and defense before the match, but this match also had a poor start due to the opponent's pressure. From the start of the match, we created several decisive chances, and in the 15th minute, the goalkeeper made a simple mistake on an opponent's clearance, leading to a goal. In the 35th minute, a goal was scored from a free kick, making it 0-2. In the 39th minute, a shot was taken from a quick pass after the defender lost the ball in the final line, making it 0-3.

In the second half, we changed our mindset and approached the game differently. Although we defended against the opponent's numerous set pieces, in the 15th minute, we conceded a goal from a cross after a corner kick, making it 0-4. After that, we had several set piece opportunities ourselves, and in the 35th minute, Otsuka scored from a loose ball after a corner kick, making it 1-4, which was the final score. In the second half, more players put their bodies on the line.

Coach Kumagai's comment
"The first half of this match was also not good. The second half became a different team, the same pattern as yesterday. The problems are clear. I want to improve the mental aspect even a little to move in a better direction."

From 8:45 PM, we watched the second leg of the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid vs. AS Roma, at Real Madrid's home stadium, Santiago Bernabeu.
