Nakata C.R.O. Soccer School Report (12/12)

On December 12th, the "Koji Nakata Football Clinic" hosted by the Sanda Gakuen Junior and Senior High School football club was held at Sanda Gakuen High School in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture. Nakata C.R.O. (hereinafter referred to as Coach Nakata) participated. The event saw approximately 130 participants, mainly 6th graders, under clear skies.

The football clinic began with Coach Nakata's greeting: "Although it's a short time today, I'd be happy if you all feel something. I have just one request: during this time, actively 'challenge' yourselves. Of course, make your own decisions, and in the game, try to steal the ball from me."

First, participants warmed up with tag in pairs and stretching exercises, followed by training in passing and ball control. Although it was simple training, Coach Nakata demonstrated and carefully taught each individual, making it an enthusiastic session.

The final game was played 20-on-20 to allow as many children as possible to interact with the ball and Coach Nakata. Coach Nakata joined all the teams, sometimes gently passing to teammates, and at other times, dribbling past two or three opposing defenders.

This time, players from the Sanda Gakuen High School football club supported the event from the warm-up to the final game. In the final game, they were seen interacting with the children, sweating together.

At the closing ceremony, Coach Nakata presented signed autograph cards and greeted everyone, saying, "I was happy to see so many 'challenges' from you all today. Please don't forget what you felt today and continue training with your coaches. Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved who provided this opportunity."
