A unified stadium, 2-1 victory with goals from Nakagawa and Yoshida!
The 20th match of the Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-18 Football Premier League 2024 EAST was played at the Kashima Antlers Clubhouse Ground against Maebashi Ikuei High School.

The clubhouse ground was filled to capacity with spectators, and the atmosphere was electric.


In the starting lineup, Towa Asahina (22), making his first appearance this season, played at right back.
In the 2nd minute of the first half, Kashima earned a free kick on the left flank. Rui Onuki (28) sent the ball towards the goal, and Tenso Nakagawa (14) netted it with his right foot after a deflection, scoring the opening goal.

They continued to pressure the opponent with an aggressive defense from the front, not giving them any freedom.



The opponents tried to build up attacks, but Daigo Hirashima (32), Rui Onuki (28), and Yuwa Fukuoka (19) continued to work hard with abundant energy, preventing any chances.
When the opponents launched long balls, goalkeeper Eita Kishino (21) made a good save, averting danger. The first half ended 1-0.


Minato Yoshida (40) was introduced at the start of the second half. Yoshida controlled the ball in midfield, maintaining the team's momentum.
In the 67th minute, the opponents scored from a header off a right corner kick. After that, a back-and-forth battle ensued.

The deadlock was broken in the 86th minute when Kashima earned a free kick on the right flank. Rui Onuki (28) sent the ball to the center, and Minato Yoshida (40) scored a perfect header, taking the lead again. The match ended with Kashima Youth securing a crucial three points.

After the match, many voices from the stands could be heard encouraging the players.

Next, on Sunday, December 1st, they will play an away match against Yokohama FC Youth at Kanagawa Prefectural Hodogaya Park Football Stadium. With two matches remaining, the players have only one goal in mind.
