Matchday 10 of the Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-18 Football Premier League 2024 EAST saw Kashima Antlers Youth face Maebashi Ikuei High School at Maebashi Ikuei High School Takasaki Ground.
After their come-from-behind victory against FC Tokyo U-18 at home last week, they had a week to prepare.
The temperature before the match was 34℃, making it a tough game in severe heat.
In the 22nd minute of the first half, they conceded a goal from an attack originating on the right flank.
In the 31st minute, a pass was threaded into the gaping space in the center, and an opponent who received the ball in front of goal scored again, conceding another goal.
Then, in the 39th minute, they conceded a painful third goal, going into halftime trailing 0-3.
Kashima Youth, desperate to break the bad momentum, made three substitutions at halftime. They aimed to energize the attack and go for a goal.
Despite showing determination to score, they conceded a fourth goal to the opponent in the 78th minute.
They were unable to score until the end of the match, resulting in a very disappointing 0-4 loss.
