A convincing 4-0 victory away from home!

Kashima Antlers Youth faced Omiya Ardija U18 away in Matchday 8 of the Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-18 Football Premier League 2024 EAST.

They had won their previous match against Shonan High School at home with a 1-0 victory, making it two consecutive home wins.
Additionally, they secured their spot in the national tournament by winning both matches in the "48th Japan Club Youth Football Championship (U-18) Kanto Tournament" held on May 25 (Sat) and June 1 (Sat).

Despite their recent successes, the team showed no complacency and approached this match with full determination.

From the start of the first half, Kashima Youth played aggressively, aiming to exploit the opponent's defense, and quickly took control of the rhythm.

Building on a good flow, they broke through the left flank, and from a cross by #7 Sato, #11 Cho skillfully connected, scoring an early opener.

Kashima Youth continued to maintain their tempo and dominance, playing aggressively in both attack and defense. #11 Cho then added another goal from a penalty kick.

Kashima Youth continued to control the second half, with a solid defense that prevented the opponents from getting shots easily. They scored two more goals in the second half, securing a convincing 4-0 victory and their third consecutive Premier League win.

In the next match, they will host FC Tokyo U-18 on Saturday, June 22. The team will fight as one to achieve victory.
