After the final matchday on Sunday, December 3rd, Antlers Youth won the league with 38 points from 13 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses. They have secured a spot in the Prince Takamado JFA U-18 Football Premier League 2023 Play-offs, which is awarded to the top two teams in Kanto Division 1, and aim for promotion to the Premier League, the highest level of high school football (returning for the first time since the 2019 season).
The playoff pairings, which will be played in a four-team knockout tournament format for each block, were announced on Monday, December 4th. Antlers Youth will face Setouchi High School in the first round on Friday, December 8th. If they win their first match, they will advance to the second round on Sunday, December 10th, with promotion to the Premier League at stake.
