"JFA Vermont Cup 36th All Japan U-12 Futsal Championship" Dates Announced

We are pleased to announce the tournament outline and match schedule for the "JFA Vermont Cup 36th All Japan U-12 Futsal Championship" in which Kashima Antlers Junior will participate.


We appreciate your support for Kashima Junior as they compete on the national stage after winning the Ibaraki Prefecture Qualifiers!

 

Tournament Schedule and Venues

First Round
・August 9 (Sunday) Match 1, 9:30 AM Kickoff vs. Aspeガス Ikoma FC (Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground Gymnasium 1)
・August 9 (Sunday) Match 2, 12:00 PM Kickoff vs. Bravery Kamitsuyaku SC (Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground Gymnasium 1)
・August 10 (Monday) Match 3, 9:00 AM Kickoff vs. Estrellas FC (Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground Indoor Arena 3)


Final Round
・August 10 (Monday) Round of 16 
・August 11 (Tuesday/Holiday) Quarter-finals
・August 11 (Tuesday/Holiday) Semi-finals
・August 11 (Tuesday/Holiday) Final, 3:00 PM Kickoff (Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground Gymnasium Center)

 

Tournament Overview

Tournament Format
(1) First Round
The 48 participating teams will be divided into 12 groups of 4 teams each to play a league-style tournament.
Teams from the same prefecture will not play in the same group.


(2) Final RoundTeams from the same group in the first round will not play each other in the Round of 16.


Match Format
(1) First Round
Playing time will be 16 minutes (two periods of 8 minutes each), with a halftime interval of 3 minutes (from the end of the 1st period to the start of the 2nd period).


(2) Final Round
Playing time will be 20 minutes (two periods of 10 minutes each), with a halftime interval of 5 minutes (from the end of the 1st period to the start of the 2nd period).

 

Method for Determining the Winner (if the match is tied within regular time)
・First Round: Draw


・Final Round (excluding the final): The winner will be determined by a penalty shootout. The interval before the penalty shootout will be 1 minute.


・Final: An extra time of 6 minutes (two periods of 3 minutes each) will be played. If the score is still tied, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout. The interval before extra time will be 5 minutes, and the interval before the penalty shootout will be 1 minute.

The 48 participating teams will be selected as follows:
(1) One team from each of the 47 prefectural football associations
(2) One team from the prefecture with the highest number of participating teams in the previous tournament qualifiers (Hokkaido)
