"We planned this expedition to Thailand with the aim of improving the issues that emerged in the first half of the Premier League season, in preparation for the second half. Among those issues was adaptability to various situations, and I am grateful for the environment that allows us to undertake such an overseas expedition. Today's match was played on a soft pitch in a climate different from Japan, the day after our travel. Many players seemed unable to play as expected. Despite that, the fact that we were able to win shows that the team and individuals are improving their fundamental abilities. To become professional players, we must be able to perform our best in any situation. Bangkok United B, our opponent, was a very well-organized and good team."
Thammasat University Rangsit Center, where the match was held, was a very large university facility. The match was played on the training grounds used by Bangkok United, a Thai League 1 team. The stadium used for league matches was also located within the facility.
