Winning organizations have reasons for their success. Beyond tactics and strategies, there lies "a leader's resolve" and "a cumulative process of decision-making."

This program aims to be a "journey" that allows each participant to systematically re-evaluate and rebuild their leadership. It achieves this by highly integrating the practical knowledge of "winning organizational culture" that Kashima Antlers, boasting a record 21 domestic titles, has cultivated over many years, with leadership theory based on "logical thinking and management knowledge" developed by Globis.

Program Overview

Why "leadership" now?

In today's business environment, where uncertainty is increasing and questions with no single right answer are constantly being asked, leadership is no longer limited to a select few in management positions.

 

What is now required of all business professionals is the ability to make decisions based on their own "core values" and influence those around them, regardless of their position or authority. Each individual must proactively forge their own path and inject passion into their workplace. This "leadership that springs from within" has become the smallest unit of the engine that drives an organization to victory.

 

On the other hand,

・In the absence of a clear answer, what should one believe in when making decisions?
・How can one engage with diverse team members and maximize the organization's passion?
・How can one establish "one's own unique leadership style"?

 

It is not easy to answer these questions alone.

 

This program aims to explore the essence of "what successful organizational leaders think and how they make decisions" through extreme situations in professional sports, where "constant victory" is a given, and through cross-industry dialogues in a community that transcends industries.

 

Participants will challenge their own values in an extraordinary environment and engage in thorough introspection. Through this "journey," participants will go beyond merely acquiring knowledge and establish within themselves an "unwavering leadership core" to drive their organizations in the field.

1.Exploring Kashima Antlers' Practical Knowledge of a Winning Organization

What Kashima Antlers has built up is not merely a record of wins and losses. It is a unique culture and style of leadership honed to "keep winning" in a rapidly changing environment.

 

This program brings together executives driving transformation amidst the integration of corporate cultures, and former players who built a golden era and continue to excel in their respective fields. From this intersection of insights from professionals with diverse perspectives, we extract wisdom applicable to the main battlefield of business.

 

Rather than merely tracing theoretical correct answers, by engaging with diverse "words of practice," we aim to:

 

・Deepen our understanding of the true role leaders should play during periods of change.
・Examine the criteria used to make "decisions" in extreme situations.
・Learn how to define and instill a "winning organizational culture" into practice.
・Discover how to build the "resolve" and "trust" that underpin an organization.

Fumiaki Koizumi
Representative Director and President, Kashima Antlers FC Co., Ltd.
Director and President, Mercari, Inc.


After graduating from Waseda University with a degree in Commerce, Mr. Koizumi was responsible for the IPOs of internet companies such as mixi and DeNA at Daiwa Securities SMBC. He joined mixi in 2006 and, as Director and Executive Officer CFO, oversaw the entire corporate division. After retiring in 2012, he supported several startups before joining Mercari, Inc. in December 2013. He was appointed Director in March 2014, Director, President and COO in April 2017, and Director and President (Chairman) in September 2019. Since August 2019, he has also served as Representative Director and President of Kashima Antlers FC Co., Ltd.

 

Yasuto Honda


Born June 25, 1969, in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. After playing for Teikyo High School and Honda Giken (now Honda FC), he spent 15 years with Kashima Antlers from the inaugural J-League season in 1993. As a defensive midfielder and long-serving captain, he brought numerous titles to the team, earning him the nickname "Mr. Antlers" and the affection of fans. After retiring from playing, he contributed to the club as an Antlers advisor, and served as a JFA Ambassador and JOB Vice Chairman. Currently, driven by a strong desire to develop players who can excel for the Japan national team and on the world stage, he widely coaches players from elementary school to high school, primarily focusing on youth development.

Akira Narahashi


Born November 26, 1971, in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. He transferred to Kashima Antlers in 1997 and also represented Japan at the World Cup in 1998. At Kashima, he was a key player during their golden age as an indispensable right-back, contributing to three league titles, three Nabisco Cup victories, and two Emperor's Cup wins. He brought numerous titles to the club and was beloved by fans. After retiring as a player, he became a football commentator, appearing widely in media covering everything from J.League to international football. To this day, he is widely revered in the football world for his involvement in coaching younger generations and his activities leveraging his past experiences.

Yasuharu Kamei
Director, GLOBIS Corporate Education


At a major human resources service company, he served concurrently as a solutions sales representative and a project manager for BPO services, engaging in all aspects of human resource management. After joining GLOBIS, as a director in the corporate consulting division, he has been involved in developing human and organizational capabilities for companies, while also taking on roles in division management and planning. He also concurrently serves as a researcher at the GLOBIS Institute of Learning Sciences and as an AI project leader for the entire company and for various departments, working to create value by leveraging learning science and new technologies. He wrote his master's thesis on "Measuring Mental Models." As an instructor, he teaches a wide range of topics, including executive facilitation, project accompaniment, business strategy, leadership, and sports business.

Curriculum Details

This program emphasizes the reproducibility of learning and its practical application in business. It goes beyond simply attending lectures and talks, focusing instead on discussions and group work among participants. Participants are also expected to prepare for upcoming sessions and engage in group work during the interval periods (when there are no lectures).

*Participation in all sessions is, in principle, required.
*You can still apply even if you are unable to attend certain dates. Please note that there will be no make-up classes, so you will be responsible for catching up on any missed sessions. Instructions on how to catch up will be provided separately to participants.
*Session times may vary slightly depending on progress.
*In the event of natural disasters or infectious disease outbreaks, in-person classes may be switched to online delivery. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
*Presentation content is subject to change.
*We are planning a hybrid delivery that combines in-person and online participation. However, during discussions, the facilitator will prioritize calling on in-person participants first, followed by online participants. We ask for your understanding regarding this approach.

Course Information Notification

Together with your acceptance notification, we will provide details for bank transfer. Please make the bank transfer by the due date (Friday, February 6, 2026, 12:00 PM). Payment is to be made in a single lump sum via bank transfer (the transfer fee will be borne by the applicant).

Regarding admission notifications

Notification of acceptance will be sent to the email address you registered by the end of Sunday, February 1, 2026. Acceptance or rejection will be determined comprehensively based on the content of your application form, taking into consideration factors such as the assurance of learning quality and diversity. Please note that we cannot respond to individual inquiries regarding the results of the selection process.

Payment methods

Along with your acceptance notification, we will send you the bank transfer details for the course fee. Please ensure the payment is made by the deadline (Friday, February 6, 2026, 12:00 PM). Payment is generally made in a lump sum via bank transfer (transfer fees are to be borne by the applicant).

Environment required for the course
This program uses Zoom and a dedicated web-based system for course participation. Please prepare the following equipment and internet environment.

・You cannot participate in online sessions using a tablet or smartphone (however, you can watch pre-study videos and view texts).
・To use Zoom, you need either the "Zoom application installed" or "Google Chrome browser."

 

Cancellations and Refunds
As a general rule, we do not accept cancellations after payment has been made. Similarly, as a general rule, we cannot accept refunds for cancellations made after the course has started. Please be aware of this before applying. However, if you wish to cancel due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters, infectious diseases, or relocation to a remote area, please contact the relevant department. If the secretariat determines that the circumstances are unavoidable, a partial refund may be offered. Please note that if your registration is cancelled or terminated due to voluntary withdrawal, actions that disrupt course operations, or actions that cause inconvenience to other participants, the course fee will not be refunded.
