Academy Report

On August 8, 22 members of the youth team, along with three staff members, including Coach Kumagai, Coach Nakamura, and GK Coach Kato, departed for Bangkok.
Due to strong winds at Narita Airport, takeoff clearance from the control tower was delayed, and the departure was about 1 hour late.


This trip to Thailand is a prize for winning the "22nd Mainichi Shimbun Cup Hazaki Youth Cup" tournament hosted by Mainichi Comnet, which was held in Hazaki from Monday, December 25 to Friday, December 29 last year.

We arrived at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok about an hour behind schedule.At the airport, we were greeted by Somnuk Nattithon, who will be our guide during our stay. He entertained us with humorous stories about how to enjoy Bangkok on the bus.


After an hour-long drive through traffic for about 15 km from the airport, we arrived at the hotel. After checking in, we had dinner. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes.On August 9, a friendly match against BANGKOK UNITED is scheduled.
