On Friday, March 2nd, a press conference was held at Kashima Stadium to announce the adoption of a new grass variety and the turf project. The attendees included Representative Director and President Hiroshi Shono, Director and Business Division Manager Hideki Suzuki, Turf Project Leader Yoshinori Komatsu, and IGM Representative Director and President Nobuo Suzuki.

At the press conference, we announced details about the new grass variety for Kashima Stadium and our future grass business.


After the press conference, a demonstration of laying sheets on the turf was conducted on the pitch. The sheets were specially developed for Kashima Stadium. The process of laying and removing the sheets took only a few minutes each. This significantly reduced the work time, which previously took half a day to a full day.
