9th Antlers Business Club Blood Drive Support Project

On Friday, December 6th, the "9th ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB Blood Drive Support Project" was held in front of the Kashima Antlers Clubhouse.

This event is held regularly as part of the ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB's philosophy sponsorship activities (*), with the cooperation of the Ibaraki Red Cross Blood Center.

This time, it followed the "8th ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB Blood Drive Support Project" held on Saturday, November 9th, the day of the Nagoya Grampus match, next to the Mercari Road at Kashima Stadium, and was carried out with the aim of securing blood donors, whose numbers are decreasing.

On the day of the event, it started at 10 AM, and many people came to participate.
Those who donated blood received a high-power light with the "ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB" logo, specially produced for the "Blood Drive Support Project."

In addition to club staff, business club member companies also participated and cooperated in the blood drive. Thank you very much.

The goodwill (blood donations) collected from approximately 40 people at the clubhouse on that day accounted for about 17-22% of the blood delivered to medical institutions in Ibaraki Prefecture in a single day. This blood will be used for approximately 3,000 patients who are undergoing treatment for illnesses such as cancer and leukemia, or who are facing life-threatening situations due to massive bleeding from traffic accidents or childbirth.

Blood used for transfusions cannot yet be artificially created, nor can it be stored for long periods.

Therefore, the continued cooperation of many people is necessary to ensure a stable supply of blood products to medical institutions. The ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB will continue to conduct blood donation activities from local areas to save precious lives. We ask for your continued understanding and cooperation.

Going forward, the ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB will continue to carry out activities aimed at contributing to the local community and society.

(*) What is a philosophy sponsorship activity?
The ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB will allocate a portion of its membership fees as "philosophy sponsorship funds" to activities aimed at contributing to the local community and society.
