We would like to inform you that, in response to today's announcement (September 16) that Ibaraki Prefecture's state of emergency will be lifted on Monday, September 20 (holiday), the operation of the 2021 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 32 against Kawasaki Frontale (September 22) will be changed to conform to the J-League protocol with a 5,000-person capacity limit.
Regarding holding this match with spectators, on September 14 (Tuesday), we announced an operation that involved separating entrance gates based on whether visitors were from within or outside the prefecture and checking various certificates, in accordance with the request from Ibaraki Prefecture. However, with the lifting of the prefecture's state of emergency, these operations will no longer be implemented. The match will be operated in compliance with the J-League COVID-19 response guidelines and the viewing rules established by the club.
Please note that the 2021 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 29 against Gamba Osaka (September 18) falls within the period of Ibaraki Prefecture's state of emergency. Therefore, it will be held under the operations requested by the prefecture. We ask that all visitors planning to attend please cooperate by presenting either a "vaccination certificate" (proof of two weeks having passed since the second vaccination) or a "negative PCR or antigen test certificate from within one week of the match date" (Click here for details).
The club will continue to implement thorough measures against COVID-19 as we have done so far, aiming to create a safe and secure stadium.
