We would like to announce that following the extension of Ibaraki Prefecture's state of emergency until Sunday, September 26, and as a result of discussions with the prefecture regarding match operations during this period, it has been decided that the 2021 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 29 against Gamba Osaka (9/18) and Matchday 32 against Kawasaki Frontale (9/22) will be held with spectators (stadium capacity limited to 5,000 people).
Under Ibaraki Prefecture's state of emergency, for all prefectural facilities, including Kashima Soccer Stadium, when events are held, all facility users are requested to "thoroughly confirm negative PCR or antigen test results within one week prior to the event." Furthermore, residents throughout the prefecture are requested to refrain as much as possible from traveling across prefectural borders.
The club and Ibaraki Prefecture have discussed these requests, and it has been decided that, in principle, matches will be held with spectators even during the state of emergency, on the premise of adhering to the J.League's COVID-19 response guidelines and the viewing rules established by the club. However, we ask that all visitors cooperate with the prefecture's requests by providing proof of having completed two doses of the vaccine at least two weeks prior, or a negative PCR or antigen test result within one week prior to the match. Additionally, for visitors from outside the prefecture, we ask for your cooperation in presenting proof at the time of entry.
Details of the operational procedures on the day will be announced as soon as they are finalized. We kindly request that all visitors reconfirm and adhere to the J.League's COVID-19 response guidelines and the viewing rules established by the club.
The club will continue to thoroughly implement the COVID-19 countermeasures it has been working on, aiming to create a safe and secure stadium.
