We are pleased to announce that Kashima City and Kashima Antlers have launched "Wish List," a new public-private partnership project aimed at solving regional issues.
This project is an innovative mechanism that lists various real-world problems that are difficult for local governments to address alone, such as education, welfare, and infrastructure. Antlers acts as a "hub" and directly matches these problems with the technologies and services of companies affiliated with "ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB," a membership-based organization that "aims for regional revitalization together," thereby leading to speedy solutions.
As the first phase, urgent requests from the educational field, such as the development of an ICT educational environment and safety measures for playground equipment, were swiftly supported by four companies affiliated with the Antlers Business Club. In response, on May 7th (Thursday) today, Kashima City presented letters of appreciation to each of the supporting companies.
Background of the project's launch
This project was born when Mayor Shinichi Taguchi shared real-world issues during the "Kashima Mayor's Meeting" held on October 9, 2025. It aims to become a new model case for regional revitalization, leading to the resolution of issues faced by local governments through a network of companies.
First phase initiative: Supporting children's educational environment
■ Seibi-do Co., Ltd. and Toyo Keisoku Co., Ltd.: Improving the ICT educational environment
In response to the challenge faced by schools where images are difficult to see in bright places, such as classrooms and gymnasiums, Seibi-do donated 20 projectors, and Toyo Keisoku donated large projectors and large screens. This has enabled smooth classes and event operations in bright environments.
■ Miyazaki Co., Ltd. and Daikai Kogyo Co., Ltd.: Creating safe play areas
Deteriorated playground equipment at 13 facilities in the city, which had been delayed due to budget constraints, was removed free of charge using the demolition and removal expertise of these companies. This ensured the safety of children, reduced removal costs, and created new educational spaces.
Future Outlook
Kashima Antlers positions this project as a platform for sustainable regional problem-solving in Kashima City. Going forward, we will continue to expand our circle of support not only in the educational field but also in welfare, environment, infrastructure development, and various other "troubles" faced by the administration.
At the same time, we aim to sequentially roll out this Kashima City model to other home town cities. Antlers will act as a "bridge," continuously optimizing the diverse resources of Antlers Business Club member companies back into the local community, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the entire home town area.
