We are pleased to announce that Kashima Antlers will be resuming elementary school visits by top team players as part of our hometown activities, starting from the 2024 season. These visits were previously conducted until the 2019 season.
The elementary school visits began in the 2007 season, with top team players visiting elementary schools in our hometowns to interact with children through sports and other activities. The activity was suspended after the 2019 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but with the cooperation of the five hometown cities (Kashima City, Itako City, Kamisu City, Namegata City, and Hokota City), it will resume from the 2024 season.
For the 2024 season, 2-3 players will visit a total of 13 schools within the hometowns from May 28th (Tuesday) to June 19th (Wednesday). Details of the visits will be shared on our official website and official club social media. Please note that these visits are not open to the general public.
