"Curry Soba Noodle Restaurant" Where the Taste of a Long-Established Shop is Inherited
Ishigeya, founded in the early Showa period, is said to be the oldest soba noodle restaurant in Hasaki. The Yatabe store, affectionately known as the "National Route Store," is a familiar dining spot for supporters commuting to the stadium from Choshi. Its large red signboard is a landmark. The soba flour is domestically produced, and the owner himself makes the soba noodles daily. The dashi broth is made from high-quality bonito flakes, and pre-made ingredients are rarely used. The curry soba, ordered by 80% of customers, is not too spicy but has an addictive taste. It can be enjoyed by children and the elderly alike. During the hot season, tsukemen curry was popular, but recently, "meat-doubled soba" and "Ishigeya salad" have seen a sharp increase in popularity. The shop's recommendation is Kamo Seiro (duck soba served with dipping sauce). There are also tatami rooms where families and groups can relax, and it gets lively during lunchtime. It is said that celebrities sometimes visit, and it is also recommended for those visiting Hasaki for soccer training camps.
