Techball Report: Kashima Antlers Youth (2/26)

The March Teqball Report continues with the new challenge we undertook on Sunday, February 26th.

For this challenge, we enlisted the help of second-year youth players to see "how many balls they could put into a case using the Teqboard!"

Each player got 6 attempts, for a team total of 12 shots!

[Date]
Sunday, February 26th, afternoon

[Venue]
Courtyard inside Antlers Academy House

From this time, we will report on the main part of the challenge.

First up is the "Oyama-Nagayama Pair," two players who are "serious in both play and personality!"

Even before starting, the two serious players were well aware of the cameras and gave us their gaze (lol).

Oyama-senshu takes the first shot.

Nagayama-senshu aims a precise kick with the inside of his right foot at the wall.

photo

The precisely aimed kick hit the top part of the wall...

photo

and brilliantly went into the case!!

photo

However, since it didn't hit the stand below, it didn't count (lol).

photo

Oyama-senshu pleads with his eyes for it to be counted as a success... (lol)

Nagayama-senshu, a skilled player, aimed too precisely and hit the corner of the case and board three times in a row. (It might even be harder to hit the corner so many times...)

photo

Changing the ball distribution, Oyama-senshu now aims for the case. The meticulous Oyama-senshu fine-tunes where Nagayama-senshu throws the ball.

Nagayama-senshu throws the ball...

Oyama-senshu performs a header with incredible power! Even Nagayama-senshu is a little overwhelmed... (lol)

photo

photo

The ball, launched with such force that it seemed like it would break the Teqboard, surprisingly bounced back cleanly...

photo

photo

and scored a miraculous three consecutive goals!!

photo

Even these two, usually reserved, show this expression! (lol)

The result was a total of [4 points], with Nagayama-senshu scoring "1 point" and Oyama-senshu scoring "3 points."

While it was a slightly underwhelming score for the first team, I think it set a good benchmark for the next players.

Next up, in second place, is the "Iki-Ogura Pair," a combination of "gentleness and strength."

photo

photo

Both of them are surprisingly (?) rough in personality, as they casually took their positions and quickly started their first shot.

photo

photo

photo

And they simply missed (lol). From there...

photo

photo

photo

photo

An unbelievable six consecutive misses...! It was a typical Iki-senshu result, with all near misses...

They also switched the ball distribution, and this time Ogura-senshu aimed for the case.

photo

photo

photo

Ogura-senshu, confident in his kicking skills! He successfully scored three consecutive goals with impressive technique.

photo

And a header with that momentum too!

photo

It hit the inside of the board with a beautiful trajectory...

photo

and fell down while hitting the case. Ogura-senshu and Iki-senshu couldn't hide their shock (lol).

photo

The final attempt, after they composed themselves, was...

photo

into the net with a beautiful trajectory...

photo

but it didn't get sucked in and just passed through (lol).

photo

The two, unable to hide their shock, regretted it in the same pose (lol).

The result was a total of [3 points], with Iki-senshu scoring "0 points" and Ogura-senshu scoring "3 points"!

That's all for this Teqball Report!

Next time in April, the Misawa-Maname duo, guaranteed to bring laughs, will start!
