Tsukuba Area: July-August 2024 Event Report

[July 14 (Sun) & 15 (Mon, Holiday) Yokohama F. Marinos School Exchange Match & Game Viewing]
On Sunday, July 14, in conjunction with the away game against Yokohama F. Marinos in the 23rd round of the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League, we held a two-day exchange match with students from the Yokohama F. Marinos school.

On the first day, we held an 8-a-side exchange match with students from the Yokohama F. Marinos school at Nissan Field Kozukue Ground, and then watched the 23rd round of the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League away match against Yokohama F. Marinos at Nissan Stadium. The match was a traditional contest between two teams that continue to compete at the top level. Everyone seemed very moved by the atmosphere and excitement of the venue.

On the second day, we held an 8-a-side exchange match with students from the Yokohama F. Marinos school at Shinyoko Football Park. At the end, mixed teams were formed, and coaches from both teams also participated in the game. All the matches were intensely fought and very exciting!

Spending two days with friends in a different environment than usual created wonderful summer memories.

[July 21 (Sun) Soccer Class in Shimotsuma]
At "Hot Land Kinu," the venue for the Shimotsuma school, we held "Soccer Class in Shimotsuma" for kids (ages 4-5) and elementary school students (grades 1-6).

Approximately 50 people participated, and we practiced basic skills such as dribbling and shooting, and concluded with a match. In the final match, many participants actively engaged with the ball, aimed for the goal, and challenged themselves with what they learned in practice! Thank you to everyone who participated.

The Shimotsuma school holds classes every Tuesday at "Hot Land Kinu" for kids (ages 4-5) and elementary school students (grades 1-6). We also offer free trial lessons, so please come and experience it! Let's enjoy soccer with friends and coaches!

[July 28 (Sun) Kids Soccer Class in Yuki]
At "Kasekubo Sports Park," the venue for the Yuki school, we held "Kids Soccer Class in Yuki."

On the day of the event, we practiced basic skills such as dribbling and shooting, and in the final match, the coaches also joined the teams, and everyone enjoyed playing soccer. It was a sunny day, and everyone chased the ball energetically, making it an event full of wonderful smiles!

The Yuki school holds classes every Wednesday at Kasekubo Sports Park Baseball Field. In addition to the Basic Course for kids (ages 4-5) to elementary school students (grade 6), we also offer a "Game Course" for elementary school students (grades 3-6). We also offer free trial lessons, so please come and experience it!

[July 31 (Wed) Individual Participation 8-a-side Game Event]
At Tsukuba Academy Center, we held an "Individual Participation 8-a-side Game Event" for elementary school students (grades 4-6)!

Teams were formed from the participants on the day, and 8-a-side matches were played.

Although they were initially a little nervous playing with friends who usually practice at different venues, they gradually communicated with each other as the matches progressed.

There were many powerful plays, such as celebrating together after scoring a goal, and physically defending the goal for the team.

[August 3 (Sat) Dads' Soccer Event]
At Tsukuba Academy Center, we held a "Dads' Soccer Event."

Due to its great popularity, this was the fourth time it was held! Under the guidance of Coach Sugiyama Satoshi, many passionate plays by the dads were seen again.

After warming up, the practice included pass and control, and shooting drills, concluding with an 8-a-side match. In the shooting drill, Coach Sugiyama played as goalkeeper, and participants practiced shooting after dribbling and shooting from crosses. The atmosphere was excellent, with excitement over Coach Sugiyama's impressive big saves and many heartfelt shots from the dads.

[August 10 (Sat) Parent-Child Soccer]
At Tsukuba Academy Center, we held a "Parent-Child Soccer Event" for kids (ages 4-5) and elementary school students (grade 1).

Approximately 20 parent-child pairs participated. They cooperated in practicing ball-feeling and dribbling while calling out to each other, and also had shooting challenges and one-on-one matches!

In the parent-child challenges, the children's joy at beating their parents, and the sight of parents and children running freely and enjoying touching the ball, shone brightly!

We will continue to hold events that parents and children can enjoy together, so please join us then!

[August 31 (Sat) Skill-Up School]
At Tsukuba Academy Center, we held a "Skill-Up School in Tsukuba" for elementary school students (grade 3). This time, the practice theme was "attack and defense in front of the goal."

We practiced basic skills such as dribbling, passing, and control, as well as the stepwork necessary for defense, and then conducted practical drills in one-on-one situations and matches.

In the final match, many players actively aimed for the goal and physically defended the goal.

We will continue to hold technical-focused events with various themes.
