Matchday 14 of the Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-18 Football Premier League 2024 EAST was played at Kashima Soccer Stadium, Ibaraki Prefecture, against Ryutsu Keizai University Kashiwa High School.

Ryutsu Keizai University Kashiwa took control from the start. They launched attacks with good momentum and created decisive chances from the left flank, but Kashima Youth did not concede a goal.

In contrast, Kashima Youth took the lead in the 19th minute. From a throw-in by 2 Matsumoto Haruto, 40 Yoshida initiated an attack. The ball temporarily went to the opponent, but 11 Cho applied intense pressure on the back pass to the opponent's goalkeeper, inducing a misclearance and scoring with a shot. Kashima Youth took the lead.

After that, both teams had chances but failed to score. However, in the 26th minute, an attack originating from the opponent's long ball from the left flank led to a goal conceded.

In the 89th minute, 20 Shimada, who came on as a substitute, passed the ball to 32 Hirashima, who ran up the right flank, and 9 Masaki took a shot. The ball was parried by the opponent, and 32 Hirashima reacted to it, scoring a goal. Showing resilience, they narrowed the deficit to one goal.

Then, in the 90+1st minute, due to the eagerness to score, a pass was intercepted, and the opponent dribbled the ball into the penalty area. Although they temporarily regained possession, a loose ball was tapped in, resulting in a painful goal conceded in added time.

Kashima Youth, not giving up on scoring, aimed for the goal. In the 90+5th minute, 40 Yoshida took a shot with his right foot in the center, but it was blocked by an opponent defender. They rebuilt the attack, and 20 Shimada picked up the loose ball, narrowing the deficit to one goal, but the match ended 3-4. It was their first loss at home.
