In the opening match of the 48th Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-18) tournament, Kashima Antlers Youth faced Kagoshima United FC U-18 at Yamaguchi Kirara Expo Memorial Park Soccer/Rugby Field.
Kashima Youth took control of the game from the start, putting pressure on their opponents.
A one-touch passing sequence from the left wing led to an opening goal from a superb individual effort by #40 Yoshida. They continued to press, threatening the opponent's goal, and from a set-piece flow, #40 Yoshida responded to #4 Okawa's cross to score an additional goal.
Kashima Youth maintained their momentum, with #3 Dobashi scoring from a set-piece flow to make it 3-0. Then, #40 Yoshida scored his fourth goal, achieving a hat-trick in the first half. The first half ended 4-0.
In the second half, Kagoshima U-18 launched several strong attacks, often pushing Kashima Youth back into their own half, but the score remained unchanged until the end of the match.
Kashima Youth finished their first group stage match with a 4-0 victory.
