We are pleased to announce that Kashima Antlers Youth has won their first title at the 49th Japan Club Youth Football Championship (U-18) Tournament.
Antlers Youth advanced through the group stage, held from Tuesday, July 22, with a perfect record of three wins. They then defeated Vissel Kobe U-18 5-3 in the quarterfinals and FC Tokyo U-18 in a penalty shootout in the semifinals to reach the final. On Thursday, July 31, they triumphed 3-0 over Vegalta Sendai Youth in the final at Nippatsu Mitsuzawa Stadium, claiming the championship title.
This tournament determines the best club team in Japan for high school-aged players, and Antlers Youth achieved their first victory in their 26th appearance. Thank you very much for your great support!
