Yachibei
The second bowl is Yachibei's clam ramen. I finished all of the soup!

I accidentally showed an empty photo from the first one. That's how delicious it was! I ordered the clam ramen set for 1,150 yen.

The clam extract infused into the light salted soup. There were about 20 clams, and all of them were large! I wanted to savor the clams without wasting any, so I ate all the meat and drank all the soup.

Lake Hinuma, located near the restaurant, is a major clam producing area. Only large, well-grown clams are caught using a 12mm mesh basket specified by the fishing cooperative.

Clam ramen can be ordered as a single dish or as a set meal. If you're visiting for the first time, don't hesitate to order it!
Before finishing this article, I already revisited the place. I ordered the Aji Fry Set for 950 yen! I changed the ramen to clam ramen for an additional 200 yen.

Yachibei is located along National Route 51, at the northern end of Hokota City. Look for the clam ramen sign!

For those coming to Hokota from Mito/Oarai, this will probably be the first ramen restaurant you see. Don't you think it's wonderful to be able to enjoy local specialties at such a restaurant?
