The team received the Ibaraki Prefectural Citizen's Honor Award in recognition of their achievement of winning their first AFC Champions League title in 2018, bringing their total to 20 titles. This is the third time the team has received this award, following 2001 and 2008.

A present lottery was held exclusively for stadium visitors. Sekisho Shoji offered "Sekisho Shoji Awards" including 100L fuel vouchers and hand car wash service vouchers. Mercari offered "Mercari Awards" including 5,000 Mercari points and PopSockets.

The first 1,500 people who downloaded the official J.LEAGUE app "Club J.LEAGUE" received a limited-edition Abe player postcard for the opening match.

A Digital Station was set up to support digital usage at Kashima Stadium, including how to use the electronic tickets and stadium Wi-Fi, which will be introduced this season.
