A grand welcome ceremony was held at Miyazaki Airport. Bouquets were presented by children from the local Tsukimigaoka Kindergarten, and local specialties were given by Miyazaki Mayor Toshiki. In return, Coach Oiwa, Uchida, and Misao presented balls to the children.
Coach Oiwa greeted everyone, saying, "Thanks to the Miyazaki training camp and the people of Miyazaki, we were able to become Asian champions. This year, we aim to prepare thoroughly in Miyazaki to win the ACL again and reclaim the J-League title." Finally, a commemorative photo was taken with the children, bringing the welcome ceremony to a close.
