Kashima Festival

The Kashima Festival was held around Kashima Stadium on Saturday, October 27th and Sunday, October 28th. This year marked the 28th festival, and it was bustling with many people on both days.

On Sunday, October 28th, Tokyo Olympics PR and player talk shows were held. Miraitowa and Someity, the mascots of the Tokyo Olympics, made their first appearance in Ibaraki Prefecture.

Nakata C.R.O promoted the Tokyo Olympics on stage with Kashima Mayor Nishikiori, Manager Nakajima of the Nippon Steel Sumitomo Metal Kashima official baseball team, and Kashima Ambassador Naoko Ken. Naoko Ken introduced herself as "Namie Amuro," which drew laughter. Nakata C.R.O talked about the recent Suwon Samsung match, livening up the discussion.

For the customary Kashima Antlers talk show, new players usually appear, but this time, Zico TD made an appearance. With Halloween approaching, Zico TD also appeared wearing a mischievous hat.

When MC Takagi asked, "Who watched the Suwon Samsung match?", Zico TD also raised his hand along with the audience. He then reminisced about the Suwon Samsung match and said about the final, "When it counts, the supporters' cheers are essential." He also reportedly told the players, "You may have things you want to do, but please be patient for these two months."

Finally, when Takagi asked, "Who's going to the final?", Zico TD raised his hand again, also getting a good laugh.

Next, players Yamaguchi and Oki, who joined this season, appeared. Both players were nervous and initially only nodded in response to Takagi's questions, but gradually got used to it and talked about the Suwon Samsung match and their private lives. Yamaguchi greeted, "As a forward, I want to score when I play," and Oki greeted, "I want to give my all in everyday practice," concluding the talk show.

On Mercari Road, Mercari, the club's official sponsor, held a real flea market instead of its usual app. The flea market was bustling with many people, and some were seen shopping while negotiating with vendors. Players Yamaguchi and Oki, who participated in the talk show, also visited.
