Mercari Sports Day

The 1st Mercari Sports Festival was held at Kashima Stadium on Saturday, October 20th. Approximately 130 people, including Mercari employees and their families, who are official club sponsors, participated. This time, they were divided into four teams for competition.

After a thorough warm-up, the competition finally began.

Be Professional Ball Toss
Demonstrating exceptional ball-tossing ability with the spirit of "Be Professional," one of Mercari's values, participants aimed to be ball-tossing professionals for the day.

Tail Tag Game
This was a family-oriented competition where children received sweets from Shikao if they grabbed a tail. Children who were initially afraid of Shikao quickly grew to love him after receiving the sweets.

All for One King Dodgeball
In this dodgeball game, the game ended if the ball hit the "king" on a team. With "All For One," one of Mercari's values, participants demonstrated teamwork to fight for victory.

Go Bold Human Ball Rolling
Participants boldly rolled large human-sized balls in the spirit of "Go Bold," one of Mercari's values. The venue was filled with warm laughter when a small child cried, worried about their mother who was inside the large ball.

Enjoy Kids' Race
All children participated. They ran with all their might towards the finish line where Shikao was waiting.

Bubble Soccer
Participants and spectators couldn't help but laugh at the unexpectedly flying ball. Cheers of "Go! Go!" grew increasingly passionate.

Mercari Penalty Kick Championship
Suddenly, C.R.O. Nakata joined the game! Cheers erupted at his amazing shots, making it incredibly exciting! It was a fantastic climax!

After all the competitions, it was time for the results announcement. The winning team of the memorable 1st Mercari Sports Festival was "TEAM KOIZUMI," led by President and COO Koizumi!

The Mercari Grand Sports Festival was filled with the radiant smiles of all participants. By working together as a team across departmental boundaries and striving for victory, their teamwork must have improved even further. We heard comments from children like "It was so fun!" and "The grass felt so good!" Antlers will continue to engage in various activities with our sponsors.
