On Sunday, May 20th, before the Vegalta Sendai match, the Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Presents Match Day Festival, powered by Nissin Foods, was held at Bokuden-no-Sato Sports Park.

This Match Day Festival featured a mini-soccer tournament. Participants received a "Chicken Ramen 5-pack" as a participation prize, and the winning team received a certificate signed by Antlers players and "Assari Sukuname Cup Noodles Curry."

[Tournament Rules]
・Entry as a team or individual
・5-a-side (can be changed depending on the number of registered players)
・League play or knockout tournament
・Kick-in system
・No direct goals from kick-off or kick-in
・Goalkeeper throws the ball after catching it
・Free substitutions

Despite the clear skies, a cold wind blew during this Match Day Festival, which was divided into categories for 1st & 2nd graders, 3rd graders, 4th graders, and 5th & 6th graders.

Once again, there were many individual entries from younger grades. Individual entry teams were formed, and participants played aiming for victory with new teammates.

For the 4th grade and 5th & 6th grade divisions, there were many team entries, and coordinated plays were seen throughout. The finals for both age groups went to a penalty shootout, making it another close contest where the winner remained unknown until the end.

On another pitch, a parent-child soccer class for preschoolers and Antlers junior practice matches were held. Additionally, as it was "Namegata Day," "Choshi Day," and "Hitachi Day," mini-games were played to foster interaction among children from the three cities.
