[Manager Masatada Ishii]
The FUJI XEROX SUPER CUP is a tournament where teams that achieved results last season can participate, so I am happy to be able to participate. Antlers has participated in this tournament many times. We have won 5 times, but we have also lost about the same number of times, so this year I want to firmly add this title to the club's history. Going into this season, there wasn't much time for training, and we had to adjust by suddenly playing games. In such circumstances, it was a very difficult preparation to raise the new players' combination and tactical understanding, and the team's condition, but it has gone smoother than I expected.

[Manager Petrović]
I consider it an honor for Urawa to be able to participate in this tournament. I want to play a great game against a wonderful opponent like Antlers and bring the cup back to our club.

[Yasushi Endo]
I am honored to be able to play against Urawa in this wonderful tournament. We are not just participating; we want to go all out and win. Urawa had more points in the annual standings last year, and even though we won the championship, I believe Urawa is the true champion. I want to fight with the spirit of a challenger. I want to win the first official match and have a good season. It would be good if we could score goals from open play, but in matches between clubs like ours, I think set pieces are the key to deciding the outcome.

[Yuki Muto]
This is the first official match of the year, and I think it's an important game to build momentum for the upcoming ACL and J-League battles. Kashima made us feel frustrated last year, so winning against that team would give us great confidence to fight this year. I want to do my best to win.
