At Miyazaki Airport, a grand welcome ceremony was held to celebrate their double victory. Flowers were presented by local kindergarten children, and commemorative gifts and local specialties were presented by Miyazaki Vice Mayor Tamura. In return, coach Ishii, player Shoji, and player Ogasawara gave balls to the children.
Coach Ishii greeted, "I believe that we can achieve good results precisely because we prepare well here in Miyazaki. In 2017, we will work together as a club to achieve even better results than last year." Finally, a commemorative photo was taken with the children, and the welcome ceremony concluded.
