Hometown Elementary School Visit: Hokota City Kyokuto Elementary School

On October 26, players Nishi and Nakamura visited Hokota City Asahi Higashi Elementary School and interacted with 194 students in the gymnasium through games of "Tail Tag", "Rock-Paper-Scissors Train", and dodgeball.

Led by C.R.O. Nakata, the players put on a demonstration. As two of the most skilled technicians in Antlers, they displayed brilliant techniques with their ball juggling. Although they were using a smaller size 4 ball than they normally do, Nakamura said, "It's still round, so it doesn't matter," and passed and juggled with the children.

They played "Rock-Paper-Scissors Train" with the first and second graders. If you lose at rock-paper-scissors, you join the end of that line. Player Nishi sprinted with all his might to avoid rock-paper-scissors, but when caught by the children, he easily lost at rock-paper-scissors.

They played "Tail Tag" with the third and fourth graders. The players dangled ropes, and the children put red and white hats in their pockets, trying to snatch each other's. In the match against the third graders, Nakamura dangled his rope normally, but in the match against the fourth graders, he used his cunning to shorten the rope so much that it was almost invisible.

They played dodgeball with the fifth and sixth graders. Player Nishi even used a child as a shield to escape, apologetically saying, "I thought it was a boy I used as a shield, but it was a girl." When it turned into multi-ball, the players also got hit at times. When Nakamura went out to the outfield, he immediately hit a girl in the back with the ball and returned to the infield. Player Nishi caught a ball with a sideways dive, but perhaps forgetting there was another ball, he was easily targeted while on the ground.

After the interaction, the players presented autographed cards and pennants to the student representatives. The children shared their impressions of the day and also received bouquets of flowers. Before leaving the school, Nishi made a surprise visit to the classroom to meet the girl he used as a shield in dodgeball and gave her an autograph.
