On Wednesday, August 10, the day of the SURUGA Bank Championship 2016 IBARAKI match against Independiente Santa Fe, hometown events were held and tournament sponsors set up booths. Tournament leaflets were distributed at the entrance gates, and three lucky attendees were given a match ball used in the game.



[Hometown Events]
The mascot characters from the five hometown cities gathered and carried out promotional activities at their respective booths. Local specialties from each city were also sold.












[Exhibition of the Championship Cup]
The tournament's championship cup, along with the Nabisco Cup and Copa Sudamericana cups, and the uniforms of Antlers and Santa Fe, were displayed.
