On July 5th, we held the "ENCORE supported by JIM BEAM Koji Nakata, Atsushi Yanagisawa, Toru Araiba Joint Retirement Match." We look back at Toru Araiba's day with photos.

Mr. Araiba arrived at Kashima Stadium before 11 AM. Before the match, he appeared at the pitch event. First, he watched from the bench as FC TIAMO Hirakata, a team he represents, played in the exhibition match.

In the match that kicked off at 2:05 PM, he made several overlapping runs down the left wing. In the 17th minute, after the opposing goalkeeper parried his shot following a dribble, Yanagisawa followed up to score the opening goal. Then, in the 39th minute, he scored a goal with a dribble from his own half.

Midway through the first half, he gestured to the bench asking for a substitution, but coach Oiwa gave a "no" sign, and he continued to play. Calls of "Score one more goal!" came from the stands. After the whistle for halftime, he even took the microphone and sent a message to the goal area.

After the ceremony, he left the pitch once, then reappeared with C.R.O. Nakata and Coach Yanagisawa, heading to the supporters' seats. He greeted the supporters and then went through the stands to the concourse. Finally, he was also tossed in the air by the supporters.
