Miyazaki Training Camp - Day 3

Miyazaki Camp reached its third day of training, continuing under clear, serene skies. The morning practice, like the previous days, was divided into two groups. The first group of players began running at 9 AM, followed by a warm-up using ladders, and then a passing drill. Notably, new player Kubota joined the team for this practice.

They conducted a passing drill using the entire width of the pitch.

During the passing drill, Manager Cerezo intensely instructed with gestures, shouting, "Face forward! Connect accurately!" and gave guidance on starting movements and using space. They also practiced attacking from the flanks, with Takasaki heading Ito's precise cross into the goal.

Afterwards, the second group of players arrived at the field and began running. After warming up, they joined the first group for a meeting, where bibs were distributed to the players. This was the first intra-squad scrimmage since the start of the season.

The intra-squad scrimmage, with rotating members, also included three rookies and four youth players. Oashi and Kubota, playing as defensive midfielders, fiercely chased the ball while receiving instructions from surrounding players and Manager Cerezo. Machida of the youth team performed an exciting aerial battle with Takasaki.

In the afternoon practice, beach training was conducted for the second time since the first day. As before, the players walked through the woods to the coast. A circuit training awaited them. The goalkeepers, meanwhile, had a separate training menu on the field. Kubota, who had just joined, also remained on the field for an endurance run.
