8th Antlers Business Club Blood Drive Support Initiative

On Saturday, November 9th, the "8th ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB Blood Drive Support Project" was held next to the Mercari Road outside Kashima Stadium during the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 36 against Nagoya Grampus.

This event was carried out with the cooperation of the Ibaraki Red Cross Blood Center as part of the ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB's philosophy sponsorship activities (*). The blood drive follows the "7th ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB Blood Drive Support Project at the Clubhouse," which was held on Wednesday, June 7th, in front of the Kashima Antlers clubhouse, with the aim of supporting the securing of blood donors.

The day started beautifully with clear skies. At 10 AM, the starting time, reserved participants began arriving one after another to donate blood.

This time, with the cooperation of 46 people, we were able to secure an amount of blood equivalent to approximately 20-25% of the total blood delivered to medical institutions within the prefecture in one day. The blood generously provided by everyone is used to treat patients facing life-threatening situations due to illnesses such as cancer and leukemia, massive bleeding from traffic accidents, or childbirth.

The ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB will continue to carry out activities aimed at contributing to the community and society.

(*) What is a philosophy sponsorship activity?
The ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB allocates a portion of its membership fees as "philosophy sponsorship funds" to activities aimed at contributing to the community and society.
