We are pleased to announce that Coach Daiki Iwamasa has been selected as the winner of the August 2023 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Manager of the Month award, which recognizes the manager who has demonstrated the most outstanding leadership in each month of the Meiji Yasuda J-League.

I am extremely happy to receive the J1 Manager of the Month award, especially after a challenging start to the season. I believe that winning each and every match, particularly the many home games in August, led to this award. I also feel that the players gradually beginning to show the new face of Kashima Antlers on the pitch is all thanks to the supporters, players, and staff. I believe that what I can do is to continue working hard every day for the players, for the supporters, for the club, and for the revival of Antlers. This award is a strong encouragement for me, and I want to continue fighting alongside all of you.
