We would like to inform you that two staff members of our club's top team have been diagnosed with COVID-19 by Tuesday, September 20.
Staff member A complained of fatigue and a sore throat from late at night on Friday, September 16. Antigen tests conducted daily from that day until Sunday, September 18, were negative, but an antigen test on Monday, September 19 (holiday), tested positive. Following the team doctor's diagnosis, staff member A was confirmed to have COVID-19. Furthermore, based on the guidance of the public health center, an investigation to identify close contacts resulted in four staff members, including staff member B, being identified as close contacts.
Staff member B complained of fever and other symptoms on September 20, and an antigen test conducted on the same day tested positive. A subsequent PCR test confirmed a positive diagnosis. It should be noted that no close contacts of staff member B have been identified in discussions with the public health center.
The club will further strengthen the COVID-19 countermeasures we have implemented thus far, and we will ensure that all players, staff, and related parties are once again informed of and strictly adhere to infection prevention measures.
