We would like to announce that two players from our top team were diagnosed positive for COVID-19 after PCR testing on Sunday, July 17.
Players A and B both reported feeling unwell on the morning of July 17 and tested positive in antigen tests for players and team officials scheduled for the same morning. Subsequent PCR tests confirmed their positive diagnoses. They are currently recuperating under appropriate guidance and measures. Furthermore, as a result of identifying close contacts based on the J.League's COVID-19 prevention guidelines, no close contacts were identified.
All players and team officials, excluding players A and B, tested negative in antigen tests conducted on the morning of July 17, and no symptoms such as feeling unwell have been confirmed at this time. In response to the positive diagnoses of these players, team training on the same day was canceled.
The club will further strengthen its existing COVID-19 prevention measures and ensure that all players, staff, and related personnel are re-informed and fully comply with infection prevention measures.
