Announcement: Nippon Steel Curtain Laser Match for 5th and 6th Graders at the Iwata Match (5/3)

We are pleased to announce that the "NIPPON STEEL Curtain Raiser Match" will be held on the pitch of Kashima Stadium before the 2022 Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League Matchday 11 against Jubilo Iwata on Tuesday, May 3rd (holiday).

On the day, participants will form teams and enjoy playing barefoot on the stadium pitch before the match! Let's all have fun playing soccer before watching the Iwata match!

Additionally, a special home game event, "Family Unity -Kids Day-", will be held for the Iwata match, with various activities planned. Children in elementary school grade 6 or lower can enjoy the kids' area outside the stadium for free, so please come and join us!

*During the Curtain Raiser Match, guardians should watch from the spectator seats. After the match, coaches will escort the participants to the disbandment point (NIPPON STEEL Gate).
*In case of rain, the event will be cancelled. Please note that the event may also be suddenly cancelled due to the spread of novel coronavirus infection or the condition of the pitch.

[Eligibility and Number of Participants]
Elementary school grades 5-6: Total 50 people
*If there are many applicants, participants will be selected by lottery.

[What to bring]
All soccer equipment (balls will be provided by the club), water bottle, health check sheet
*Please do not bring balls into the stadium as they are prohibited.

[Health Check Sheet]
When participating in the event, you must submit a health check sheet. Please fill it out starting from Tuesday, April 19th, two weeks prior, and submit it at the reception on the day of the event, Tuesday, May 3rd (holiday).

[Tickets for the Iwata Match]
・Participants and guardians should purchase their tickets from "Shika Ticket" individually.
・Elementary school students in the hometown can watch for free by pre-registering for the Hometown Kids Pass "IC Card".

[Parking]
Please use nearby paid parking lots.
*The surrounding parking lot is Parking B (1,000 yen including tax).
*Please purchase Parking B tickets from "Shika Ticket". Please purchase by the day before as it takes time for data to be reflected for purchases on the day.

[Other Notes]
・Please note that bringing balls into the stadium is prohibited during match viewing.
・In case of cancellation, we will notify you via the email address registered with your J.LEAGUE ID.
・We will provide first aid for injuries on the day, but subsequent care will be the responsibility of each family. Please be aware of this in advance.
・Please register for "Amabie-chan" posted at the venue on the day.
・Please write your name on all your belongings.

[COVID-19 Countermeasures Guidelines]
Please take your temperature on the day of participation.
On the day of participation, adults (18 years and older) with a fever of 37.0°C or higher, and minors (under 18 years old) with a fever of 37.5°C or higher cannot participate. Furthermore, those who experience shortness of breath, fatigue, malaise, or abnormalities in taste or smell cannot participate.

If the participant or a cohabitant experienced any of the above health issues within one week prior to the day of participation, they cannot participate.
Those who have been requested to refrain from going out by their school or educational institution or workplace cannot participate.

Please strictly adhere to the following when participating:

1) Be able to disclose your activity log (when, where, and what you were doing) for the past two weeks to the club.
2) Participants understand the risks and have confirmed infection prevention measures.
3) Always wear a mask when attending the venue.
4) Maintain social distance and avoid crowded situations. Follow instructions from staff if given.
5) If you feel unwell during participation, report it immediately and return home.<
6) Prepare your own bottle/water bottle at home and do not use others' (write your name clearly to prevent mix-ups).
7) Observe cough etiquette even on the pitch, do not spit or blow your nose with your hands.
8) Leave and return home promptly after the event.
