We regret to announce that on Monday, January 10 (public holiday), one player from our top team was diagnosed positive for COVID-19 after a PCR test.
The player reported abnormalities in his sense of smell and taste in the early morning of January 10. An antigen test for COVID-19 was conducted on the same day, which returned a positive result, followed by a PCR test which also confirmed a positive diagnosis. The player is currently recuperating under appropriate guidance and measures.
Consequently, the top team practice scheduled for January 11 (Tuesday), which was to be the start of the 2022 season, has been cancelled. PCR tests are planned for all players and team staff, excluding the affected player. Furthermore, we will proceed with identifying close contacts under the guidance of the public health center.
Regarding the clubhouse facilities, the entire building was disinfected with alcohol by an external contractor on the 10th. The official shop and futsal courts will continue to operate as usual. The club will further strengthen its existing COVID-19 countermeasures and ensure that all players, staff, and related personnel are reminded of and thoroughly implement infection prevention measures.
