We would like to inform you that we have identified six individuals who engaged in misconduct by Kashima supporters during the 2021 Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League Matchday 31 against Yokohama FC, held at Kashima Soccer Stadium on Saturday, October 2nd, and have decided to penalize them.
Furthermore, in response to this misconduct, the club will prohibit the bringing in and use of all noisemakers (vuvuzelas, megaphones, etc.) except for drums, as prohibited items for watching games during the COVID-19 pandemic.
■Overview
After the match, when the Kashima players went to greet the supporters in the South Goal-End Supporters' Seats, supporters climbed over the security fence at the front of the stands to display banners, intimidated operational staff, and engaged in behavior that interfered with venue operations. This behavior violated the Kashima Antlers' Spectator Rules. After identifying six supporters as relevant individuals, we interviewed them, and they admitted to the misconduct, leading to their punishment.
■Details of Punishment
Prohibition from attending all home and away games of the 2021 season where Kashima Antlers participate, as well as the Emperor's Cup.
■Additional Prohibited Items for Spectating during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Prohibition of bringing in and using all noisemakers (vuvuzelas, megaphones, etc.) except for drums.
In response to this misconduct, the club will strengthen its security system and thoroughly disseminate spectator rules. We kindly ask all supporters to review the prohibited acts for spectating once again and to comply with the rules. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
