What is the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba"?
A TV anime based on the manga work by Koyoharu Gotouge, published by Shueisha Jump Comics, which has surpassed 150 million copies in circulation with volumes 1 to 23. The broadcast began in April 2019. The story follows Tanjirou Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by a demon, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his demon-turned sister Nezuko back into a human. The poignant story of humans and demons, the breathtaking sword fights, and the occasional comical scenes have gained immense popularity, not only in Japan but also worldwide. On October 16, 2020, "Mugen Train Arc," a continuation of "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc," was released as a theatrical animation, and "Entertainment District Arc" TV anime is scheduled to broadcast in 2021.
