We would like to announce that on Tuesday, August 3, one top team player and one top team staff member of our club tested positive for COVID-19 in a PCR test.
Subsequently, on the same day, PCR tests were conducted for all top team players and team officials, excluding the affected player and staff. All tested negative, and no symptoms such as poor health or fever were observed.
Furthermore, based on the J.League's guidelines for COVID-19 countermeasures, we proceeded to identify close contacts, and as a result, there were no close contacts. The public health center has determined that future top team activities can continue, provided thorough infection prevention measures are implemented.
Regarding the clubhouse facilities, the entire building was disinfected with alcohol by an external contractor on the 3rd. The club will further strengthen the COVID-19 countermeasures it has implemented so far, and will once again thoroughly inform and enforce infection prevention measures for all players, staff, and related parties.
