Following the conclusion of the 2021 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 22 match against Kashiwa Reysol on Sunday, July 11, multiple posts containing discriminatory and slanderous content against our players were confirmed to have been made by accounts impersonating our club supporters on social media.
These posts were made by impersonating the accounts of real individuals and are extremely despicable and absolutely unacceptable. The J.League and J.Clubs regularly conduct various awareness activities to create a world free of discrimination and violence, and it is truly regrettable that such an incident has occurred.
Kashima Antlers will strictly deal with this matter in cooperation with the J.League and social media operating companies to prevent recurrence in the future.
