We are pleased to announce that on Sunday, June 30th, at the 2019 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 17 Sanfrecce Hiroshima game, as part of the "d Point Kickoff Day Presented by docomo - Usable at the Stadium!" activities, and with the cooperation of club official sponsor NTT Docomo, we will be holding a "360-degree 8K VR Video Experience."
On the day, visitors will wear a device called a "head-mounted display" and enjoy a 360-degree view of the pitch-level footage, which is usually inaccessible.
After the introduction of 5G, which is expected to become widespread in the future, it will be possible to experience highly immersive VR live viewing from remote locations, as if you were actually at the venue! Please come and enjoy a simulated experience of a new viewing style at the stadium!

It is the 5th generation mobile communication system, succeeding LTE and LTE-Advanced.
It features "high speed and large capacity," "low latency," and "connectivity with many devices," allowing users to comfortably stream ultra-high-resolution videos like 4K/8K even in crowded event venues or large urban areas (NTT Docomo plans to begin offering it in 2020).
